July Day of Fate

Greetings everyone!
Welcome to summer, July 2016!  In between picnics, watching summer blockbusters, and catching virtual monsters, I hope that you’ve all been able to get some tabletop gaming in.
The third Sunday of the month is coming up, and you’ll have a chance to play some more games next weekend, at our July Day of Fate.  We’ll be at our usual location at Dragon Snack Games starting at noon on July 17th.  Whether you’re new to the Fate RPG or an experienced player, come on out!  All are welcome.
I’d also like to take a moment to congratulate our friends in WNY Savages. It’s their first “Savage-versary”, marking one year running Savage Worlds monthly at Dragon Snack Games.  If you’d like to join them on July 31st, they’ll be going from 1 to 9.
Thanks for your continued interest in the local Fate fan community.  I hope to see you on the 17th.

June Day of Fate

Greetings everyone!
It appears as though summer has come a tad early in Buffalo this year.  I hope that you’re all enjoying the warmer weather and, failing that, that you have a cool place to spend time in.  I also hope that you have some good games to play, indoor or out.
And speaking of games… the June Day of Fate will be in less than two weeks!  We’ll be at our usual haunt, Dragon Snack Games, on Sunday, June 19th at noon.  The Venture City campaign will be on hiatus this month due to the holiday, but rest assured, there will be Fate to play!
I have a humble request of you all.  If any of you are willing and able to GM this month, please contact me as soon as possible.  There’s a GM shortage this month due to Father’s Day, and I would be extremely grateful for the help.  If there’s any questions or anything you need to GM, please let me know, and I’ll try to accommodate you as best I can.
Thanks for your continued interest in the local Fate fan community.  I hope to see you on the 19th.

Queen City Conquest 2016

Since 2012, Queen City Conquest has been providing the western New York area with an amazing space to play games, meet people, and enjoy the best of what the Buffalo gaming community has to offer.  I’m proud to say that I’ve been there every year since it started, and not once did I think, “you know, that was okay, but…”.  I’ve enjoyed it thoroughly every time.  I’ve met some new people as well as spent time with familiar faces.  I’ve played games that I hadn’t played before.  It’s become what I see as an important institution in the local gaming scene, and anything that I can to do support it, I will.

All that said, QCC would like to have a fifth year, and needs your help to do so.  If you live in or near the Buffalo area, or even outside of the area, take a look at the Kickstarter and see all the awesome things that they have to offer.  If you aren’t able to pledge, spread the word to others.  Every backer & signal boost counts.

Buffalo Fate Corps will be there in force!  My goal is to have at least one Fate game running in every time slot.  I’ll be GMing at least two games, so keep an eye on the event list.

I hope to see you there in September.
